We undertook some section 278 works for a private Client in conjunction with Essex County Highways.

The works involved the construction of a new roundabout and access road for a development that encompassed an element of existing highway, within a few hundred meters of a major junction on the A12.

The scheme included

  • Meticulous planning
  • Works undertaken both night and day due to restrictions imposed on our ability to Influence the live highway and traffic flow
  • Our solution negated our clients initial idea, which involved multiple temporary closures of the highway. Instead, the works were completed with the high way remaining live at all time
  • Completed without fault for which we received high commendation
