Tendered on specification and drawings, this brownfield development involved a full package of S278 works, private roads, and utility diversions to support 22 new residential homes.
Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the project was designed to be sympathetic to its surroundings, with the infrastructure and external works blending into the existing environment.

- The private roads were constructed to base course level in coordination with Essex Highways under a unilateral undertaking. We installed the private drainage system using PCC manholes and 450mm diameter pipework at depths of up to 2.5m.
- The site’s SUDS design featured a 120m³ attenuation tank and basin with associated headwalls and flow control devices. Foul water is gravity-fed to a 4.0m diameter Klargester tank, where it is treated before being pumped back into the surface water drainage system.
