EJT undertook Section 278 works for a private client in coordination with Essex Highways. The project involved the construction of a new roundabout and access road for a development that incorporated an existing section of highway, located just a few hundred metres from a major junction on the A12.

• Due to the site’s location, the project required careful planning and a combination of day and night shifts to manage traffic flow effectively.
• We developed a methodology that allowed the highway to remain live throughout the works, avoiding the need for multiple temporary road closures.
• The scheme was completed successfully and received high commendation for its efficient execution.
