Health, Safety and Training : Training
A well trained workforce,
possessing the appropriate skills and knowledge is essential to the present
and future success of the company. Our aim is to support and develop each
individual employee to enable them to perform their role both safely and
efficiently whilst helping them to fulfil their own potential. This
investment in our workforce has allowed us to retain a loyal and experienced
team, operating with many years of continued service.
Training is carried out regularly
either
'In-house' or by Approved Training Providers - many of the courses are in
conjunction with the Construction Industry Training Board including those to CPSC and CSCS standards
A large number of employees have
gained or are working towards National Vocational Qualifications in
recognition of their skills and knowledge. This is considered vital to the
future if the company and is also in support of the modernisation and change
of image set out by the industry.
For the Construction Industry to
prosper new recruits are required to maintain a sufficient skilled
workforce. The Company is therefore committed to recruiting Trainees and Apprentices and
those considering a career in the industry to help alleviate some of the
current skill shortages. |
